California Weed

Curating the classics and the best of what’s new from the capital of cannabis.

”From Oakland to Sac-town, the Bay area and back down, we on the hunt for the best Weed around…”

News Flash: Weed is legal.

The state of California has been at the forefront of efforts to liberalize cannabis laws in the United States. In 1972 with the nation’s first ballot initiative attempting to legalize cannabis (Proposition 19). Although it was unsuccessful, California would later become the first state to legalize medical cannabis with the passage of the Compassionate Use Act of 1996 (Proposition 215). Finally, in November 2016, California voters approved the Adult Use of Marijuana Act (Proposition 64) to legalize the recreational use of cannabis. During the Pandemic of 2020, the state of California classified cannabis as essential, but of course, you and I have known this all along.
